Chris spent his childhood on a small farm in Michigan, and after completing his education, he relocated to Southern California. He graduated college with a degree in Geophysics and got into the industry.

About the business

[09:50]

iLevel Logistics is for those interested in or already working in the shipping industry. iLevel Logistics seeks to give headlines and information about various topics, providing direction in the transportation industry, which is an important cornerstone in the local, national, and global economies.

Logistics Industry

[12:19]

The supply chain industry will use trucking as an example; over 80% of carriers in the United States that do long-haul business are small business owners. The fact of the matter is, you have to have the product available to you either at your warehouse or your OEM facilities warehouse to send the consumer to you.

[14:04]

There are a lot of things in our industry that are lined up squarely against the small business owner. They typically don't have the ability or the back room or the dollars in the bank to run up against all the regulations there.

AB5 Trucking

[20:20]

AB5 situation suggests that if a person wants to be considered a contractor, they have to be free from the control or direction of the company hiring them. Secondly, is to perform work outside the usual course of business for the company hiring you. And lastly, if a person is an employee, then unions have the right to go to them and help them organize to increase their pay levels.

iLevel Logistics Interview

[32:40]

To learn more about how to fill gaps in the supply chain, the company conducts interviews with drainage companies, businesses in the electric car industry, and other businesses.
